The following data is from years of measuring film holders. Also taken into account was available publish data  S & S and Canham wed sites.

Shown are the most common dimensions and the one used on current cameras made in the USA.

Notes:

          Flaps depending on the camera manufacture and time period the camera was made the width may be different.

          The first column listing flaps size is the standard and currently used by US camera makers

          Lock rib measurement is from the flap end to the far side of the lock rib 

          ANSI publication for smaller holder states " Dark slide handles shall have tactile identification marks on one side (usually the white side) to differentiate exposed and unexposed film.

2  Data is from an ANSI document.

3 Data falls in line with the publish data from the web site of S & S and Canham Some S & S holder did not agree with their data.
   S & S  page also stated the lock grove was change on some holders

4 11 x 14 holders are also currently made with a 0.35 "T" dimensions

The data collect are from holders manufactured between 1900 though the 2014. 

Manufactures of holder measure. Folmer & Schwing, Hoffman, Sterling, Great Basin, AWB Holders,  Grafex, Kodak, S &S, and unknown makes.

 Data was not collect on holders model after the Wisner holders. Wisner camera when sold came with their own holders made to fit the camera.
